Buddha's Airlines

17/03/2007
I'm not St anger like AJ but first experience before i get to fly down south does bring out some emotions.

Before i delve deep into reliving the Thai experience lemme kick some brown ass. I agree in the past we have had a shit airport in New Delhi but its been improving at a good pace over the last one year - but what burns me is when i effing cows littering the waiting area and then trying to see if someone saw them or not. I wish i had the patience to take the cow's picture and send my story to a newspaper. God bless the cow.

I had heard a lot about Buddha's airlines and i concur the seats the definitely better compared to KLM and BA. Which is unusual - as Europeans as more heavily set as compared to South East Asians but i think the realization is still not there on both sides.

Thai air hostess as definitely more warm and cordial. funny thing the traditional way of welcoming someone in Thailand is something like 'Sawasadee' and is done by joining both of your hands in front of your chest and the way Indians too is also the same just that we say 'Namaste' on the other hand Sikhs say 'Sat Sri Akal'. Now giving some credit to the nasal twang which the air hostess had and my hearing disability - i thought she said 'sat sri akal' to me and man was i impressed. The happiness was short lived when i saw the same gesture being repeated for everyone on board.
