X'mas DnD - The Birth of the Glotizen

That stands for X'mas Dinner and Debate. We went to Gary's and Vip's Place for X'mas Dinner or rather dinner. Around 9 people, Great food followed by a Great debate -

'Can the Growing population or the already high population of India be dealt with or not?'

The conclusion to the debate never came out but the ride to try to find a conclusion was healthy enough because it took my down the road to the time of 1960's when the Asian Tiger were in full economic boom in Malaysia and Taiwan to the time of economic reforms in India in the 1990's to the current Nuclear Deal between India and USA to some Bush Bashing to Harper Spanking to
China to not underestimating the role of technology to bring about awareness to the masses.

Interestingly as i sat on the sides watching this debate take place i realized that people now are to my surprise more apt to the thought of being a 'Global Citizen' also to be known as 'Glotizen' with a lil bias to their native country.

Why i feel so?

Consider Indians in Canada - as we talked about stuff last night - i felt a sense of frustration prevailing among the room where people wanted to do stuff or people who are doing stuff but not being able to take it to the point that they can see a tangible result of their inputs. One common point which came up again and again was that those people are not on Ground Zero so at some point or the other the entire picture which the people here hold of the situation there is not completely clear. Clearly those people want to do stuff not for their own country but anyone who needs it. The fall back of being a Glotizen is clearly that it is gonna aid in increasing the disparity between the Developed and the Developing Nations but think about it this way if we are able to good Glotizen's then single handedly we would be able to have a great impact on the growing phenomenon of America Vs Islam as a Glotizen would be a living example of tolerance and working together for a common cause.
