My Mum = Sweety

- Spent the early half of the day catching up with Sweety - tales from back home and lazing around.
- Played yet another game of monopoly with Kota and Aastha. She still sucks - bum bowed out of the game this time.
- Went to Ebony in the evening - Had great fish(steamed wrapped in banana leaves with mint sauce) and beer. The weather was great. The place offers a wide view of the Bangalore city.

Day long trip to Mysore with Sweety and Aastha
1) Sri Ranga Patnam - Visited Colonel Bailey's Dungeon - This was by far the best part of the trip. The security guard for 10 bucks gave us all the history of the dungeon and i was able to get some good shots too.
2) Mysore Palace - Its one of the coolest palaces which i have seen till now. Infact the core difference between palaces in Rajasthan and South India which i found was that, that the palaces here in South India are more colorful whereas palaces in Rajasthan are more monotone. Sadly they don't allow you to take cameras inside neither do they allow shoes inside the palace. So all in all i hated it because the palace had some great shots to be taken. Panthers, Ivory Tusks, Peacocks, Hand crafted floors spanning more than 150 * 150 yards, Silver doors.
3) Sangam - which means the point where 2 rivers meet. The sangam near Mysore is highly overrated and dirty. Do not go there. :-(
4) Dasprakash - Had lunch here. Please do not have it here. :-(
5) Balmuri Falls - These effing water hole does not even meet the requriements of a fall. Just lot of placid water which goes placidly onto a set of rocks and govt has referred to it as Falls. :-(
6) And i let my hair down after a long time
