Jugalbandi - The concept
Google 'jugalbandi' and you would get the first result as 'Music for two players' which surely did dampen my spirits for this is not what i wanted it to be projected as nothing against music though, then i read another googly* which citied jugalbandi as 'tied together' which made me feel so elated because it gave the most essential defination and articulation of the thought which i have been chewing upon for about 2 months now.
'Tied together' - what are the few things which come to our mind when we hear this phrase. Two people can be tied together in love or lust or two strings can be tied together. Hence 'jugalbandi' is something which i would say is not associated entirely to music but is a more generic term which can be taken to closely agree to - 'working together with an attempt to have fun' - which takes me to the next level of expressing my wish/desire to experiment with - 'JugalBandi in Writing' i.e. Co-authoring a piece of literature or looterature**
Come to think about it a little more deeply and what would come to your mind about the thought. This is what came to my mind:-
1) If i'm about to co-author something with someone then is it important to know the person? If yes then are there any particular virtues/dimensions which i should know about him/her?
2) Should both of us know each other before we start? or should we get to know each other our the course of writing?
3) Should we write on the same topic? or should we write about closely related topics which fall in sync with each other? Should we write on completely different topics and concentrate on to just capture the interest of the reader throughout?
4) Should the co-author be a man or a woman? I'm not being an MCP here but just that i feel that co-authoring a book with a woman is a different experiance alltogether. period.
With these thoughts on the paper in front of me, one thing which i'm sure of is that i'm surely going to start on to search for a like minded 'Bitch' who would be willing to work on this endeavour with me and along the way get the answers to all the thoughts/questions mentioned above.

**looterature - piece of literature which is read in loo -something which is easy to read and spend time. strictly recoomended for those who take the most imp part of their lives on the 'Hotseat' - pooping.
